Pune has always been a place where people live in peace and harmony. It is the city of youngsters and the city with diverse culture. Riots in Pune has been a surprise for many, this is the only second big riot after 2006 in Pune.

But what is more surprising is Hard working people from Pune have been fallen trap to the vicitious politics of some selfish political leaders. Today on 3rd January 2017, Maharashtra Bandh has been declared, but till morning 11 am everything looked normal. Shops were open, public transport and autorickshaw’s were available.

By 12 pm noon, there was some mobilisation of people, specially youth, riding Triple seat (3 people on one 2 wheeler) raising slogans and forcing shops to shut down. Autorickshaw’s were forced to get back or would be vandalised. Petrol Pump in Kalewadi was asked to shut down by a group of 10-15 men, while there were 40-50 people in queue to fuel their vehicles. Same kind of incidents happened in Wakad, Pimpri Chowk, Kalewadi, Talwade Chowk, Hinjewadi and other parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad where mostly 10-15 men were involved. They even vandalised the fruit stalls road side and their fruits were thrown on streets.

So, what motivated these 10-15 people to force the shopkeepers to shut down the city.  Were these group of 10-15 men payed to do so. If so, who payed them, what was the intention behind it. If these men were not payed, then what made them leave their work and get on streets on a working day. Let us know in comments.

(Note: Wise Indian Tongue does not verify the authenticity of above content, CCTV camera’s at Petrol Pump, signals and other places would be able to provide more information about people who tried forced shutting down shops)
